NAPF Presents: A Virtual C-Suite (Director-Level) Roundtable Forum

Are you the director of a parks and recreation agency or the chief staff officer (or executive director) of a park foundation? If so, let me ask you a question. When was the last time you were included in a discussion between multiple parties holding these titles?

Well, the wait to get agency directors and park foundation staff leaders together is over! The National Association of Park Foundations is hosting a 90-minute roundtable forum for C-Suite staff in the park and recreation community. At this forum, we will discuss pivotal questions surrounding the roles, responsibilities and division of duties in the park agency/park foundation relationship. Some of the topics we will tackle include: 

• Whose job is it? Key agency/foundation duties and responsibility sharing.
• The keys to great agency/foundation relationships.
• Sink/swim vs. coddling? How much support do foundations need from their agency?
• The MOU and you! What's an MOU and why you need one and keep it fresh.
• Whose staff is it, anyways? Managing staff that work at the agency and foundation.
• Agency directors as foundation builders. Why your park agency should be the foundation's number one fan.

This event takes place over Zoom. It will not be recorded. The big room and breakouts will be utilized to encourage the greatest possible collaboration and discussion.
